The weekend promises to be one of expectation and perhaps even some drama for 3 of Lurgan’s GAA clubs.

It would be remiss not mention the current situation in Portadown however, and how the residents of Garvaghy Road and indeed the members of Tir na nÓg GAA club do not have the luxury of focussing on recreation and sport at the moment. 

Many of our members have been on the Garvaghy Road this week, showing solidarity to its residents whose only desire is to live in peace and free from intimidation and malice. 

We would encourage all of our members to continue to offer their support until a peaceful resolution is achieved.
