Website Launch - www.gaa.ie 2010-02-02 20:13:40The launch of the Association’s new website will take place in the coming weeks
after months of planning and preparation. The new site will include a host of new
features not previously catered for on the old site.
It will bring new and regularly updated content to the site with a dedicated
“ClubZone” detailing information, forms and documents ranging from the GAA
Official Guide (Part 1) and Playing Rules (Part 2), Club constitution, membership
forms, Club manual, registration and IT related Club information.
Also new to the site will be regular video, audio and news content, feature pieces
and player diaries as well as for the first time, a centralised database of archived
results ranging from All Ireland Senior, Minor, Junior, Intermediate, U21, Inter-
Provincial and Provincial final results (at all levels) in both codes. Also included will
be detailed county senior final roll of honours, team listings from all major finals as
well as a host of other results in various competitions.
All told, the new GAA website will be a crucial communications tool for the
Association moving forward and will be the first port of call for all information
relating to the Club and the Association at large.
Gaelic Start 2010-01-21 18:21:43St Paul's GFC is one of the first clubs to sign up to Gaelic Start, this is a programme currently run
by the Ulster Council GAA. The project is for four to seven year olds and covers a number of activities, fundamentals, skills, and games.
Sessions are held on Monday evenings at the Taghnevan Youth Center from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
Children from the Greater Taghnevan area not involved with any other GAA Club are welcome to come along and sign up. There is no fee for taking part in this programme.

St Paul's Annual Under 10 Tournament 2010-01-21 18:19:07St Paul's GFC held the Finals of their annual Under 10 tournament on Saturday 15th August at Davitt Park.The Final of the St Paul's Plate was contested by Pearse Og of Armagh and Naomh Eion with the Ogs emerging victors after a competitive game in blustery conditions.
St Paul's were up against Tir na Nog in the Sheila McAlernon Shield, this was well matched Final with Tir na Nog narrowly winning by a solitary point.
The Final of the John Tennyson Cup was once again a battle between St Peters' and Clann Eireann with St Peter's coming through as worthy winners. Photos have been added to the Gallery.
